I was born to a family of musicians. I grew up in a wonderful Estonian city of Tallinn. Later I went to study to Russia where I studied at the Peoples’ Friendship University in Moscow. Being a student I practiced my English and Swahili as an interpreter. Graduating from the University I participated in the 12-th International Festival of Students and Youth as the interpreter of Swahili with a large delegation from Tanzania. For several years I’ve worked at various institutes in Moscow teaching Russian as a foreign language and working as an interpreter.
Later I moved back to Tallinn to be close to my family. During the past nine years I’ve worked in Tallinn Educational University, where in 2004 I received my Master of Science Degree in Russian philology.
Nowadays I’ve been teaching Russian as foreign language at EBS (Estonian business School) Educational and have private language courses, have begun writing textbooks on the Russian language for English speaking people. As the additional service we’ve been providing city tours on Tallinn, suburbs and tours to Russia with the native speaking guide. |
